5 Merchandise Ideas That are NOT Shirts

If you are a small business looking to build brand awareness, traditional advertising may not be the most affordable. Spending hundreds on ads on the radio and online isn’t a viable way to advertise as you need to keep your costs low. Merchandising can be used as a way to increase both your brand awareness and your revenue.

Here are 5 merchandise ideas:

1. Stickers

Stickers are such a versatile way to grow brand recognition. You can use them as labels for the front of your packaging, slide them into your wrapping for clients to use later, as well as use them to seal tissue paper.

2. Tumblers

We all have to drink, so why not drink from your own merchandised tumbler? Free advertising! You can also sell them to clients or give them away as swag. Branding is more than just a logo, you want to build a trusted community and reputation around your brand.

3. Throw pillows

If you are a service based business, you probably already use throw pillows to decorate your waiting area. Why not put your logo or phrases that resonates with your clientele onto a throw pillow. This is a fun and easy way to personalize your waiting area.

4. Reusable Bags

Reusable bags are not only environmentally conscious but also a great way to present takeaways to clients. They can use them when they go grocery shopping, to the farmers market or even for a day out at the beach. Encourage customers to wear your shirts outdoors by choosing a look that gears towards  your customers’ style.

5. Decals

Decals are a functional way of mobile advertising. Place a decal on your vehicle and advertise your business everywhere you go. People will be curious and want to look it up, sending traffic to your website or social media page.
